Skin Rejuvenation Treatments

We all want that healthy, dewy glow to our skin. Over time our skin can become dull, dry, rough and uneven with fine lines and wrinkles. Makeup no longer sits well on our skin, and we lose our youthful, fresh appearance.

Fortunately the water-attracting properties of hyaluronic acid make it perfect for boosting hydration, texture and luminosity for that airbrushed look!

Redensity 1

Teoxane Redensity 1 contains pure hyaluronic acid which binds water beneath the skin to softly plump fine lines and wrinkles. It also has the added benefit of antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins and light reflective minerals to repair and strengthen the skin. It not only hydrates the skin, but will prevent premature skin ageing, improving skin quality whilst giving a beautiful healthy glow.

A course of 3 initial treatments is required, followed by a single maintenance treatment every 4 months

Chemical Peels

Young healthy skin has a high cell turnover, whereby new skin cells are made frequently and rapidly make their way up to the surface. As we age, this process slows down so that the skin is not renewed as often, leading to a dull, dry appearance.

Chemical peels gently dissolve the dead skin cells from the surface which in turn stimulates the production of new cells deep within the skin. These new skin cells are plump and fresh, giving our skin a glow while reducing pigmentation and fine lines.

Chemical peels are carried out as a course of 3 treatments 2-3 weeks apart, maintained every 6-8 weeks.

F.A.Q

What does injectable hyaluronic acid do for the skin?

Creams that contain hyaluronic acid do not penetrate through to the deepest layers of the skin. However by injecting the hyaluronic acid beneath the skin, it bypasses the natural barrier so it is at the correct depth to effectively bind water.
Treatments like Redensity 1 therefore lead to a deep hydration which increases the skins elasticity and collagen production, leading to an overall improvement in skin appearance. Fine lines are reduced and the skin regains its youthful plumpness and luminosity.

How soon will I see the results?

The injectable hyaluronic acid begins to bind water over the days following treatment with initial results visible within a week. This continues to improve for the next couple of months once the course of treatment is completed. Therefore planning well in advance of a special event is advised.

Do injectable skin rejuvenation treatments look natural?

Absolutely. These treatments do not alter the shape or structure of your face as with fillers, nor affect muscle movement as with Botox injections, they only treat the skin itself. Therefore injectable skin treatments such as Redensity 1 are commonly used in combination with these other treatments for maximum effect.

How long do these injectable moisturisers last?

Skin quality is best maintained with follow up treatments of Redensity every 4 months. Unfortunately we are always ageing therefore continually losing hydration, collagen and skin elasticity. If you chose not to repeat the treatment, your skin would gradually return to its pre-treatment state over the course of a year or so.
Maintaining the investment you’ve already made in your skin through “top-up” treatments, ensures the skin does not deteriorate as quickly, which can prevent future sagging, lines and wrinkles.

Are there any side effects from injectable skin rejuvenation treatments?

Due to the nature of the treatment, multiple micro-fine injections are required to “sprinkle” the hyaluronic acid evenly throughout the skin.  These little pin pricks will fade over a few hours although if any of the injection sites bruise, this would be apparent for a few days. We can apply sterile surgical makeup straight after the procedure if required.
For this reason most people choose not to return to work immediately after treatment, although you can wear makeup/return to work the following day.
